Summary

First, Libby meets Mel, her best friend, at school, and she goes and spends the night at Mel's house where she meets Tony, her best friend's brother, and falls in love with him. Then the book goes to when she's older and she's at Mel and Tony's cousin's wedding and Tony starts to like Libby and kisses her under the mistletoe and at the actual wedding. Later that year after graduation, they had a party at Mel's and Libby and Tony kiss, but then he rejects her, and they don't speak for a while and when they do it's never about the party. The book is about at the half-way mark when Libby receives an interesting phone call from a drunken Tony.
